Bruce Willis Suffers From Dementia: His Ex Demi Moore Gives News

Invited onto the set of the Drew Barrymore Show this Friday, September 13, Demi Moore gave news of her ex-partner, who suffers from aphasia and dementia.

Despite their separation in 2000, ex-spouses Demi Moore and Bruce Willis have remained very close, and perhaps even closer since the American actor announced that he was ending his career to preserve his health in 2022. Suffering from frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTD), the Die Hard star can count on the mother of his daughters, Rumer, Scout and Tallulah, to keep his fans informed of his condition. Which she did not fail to do this Friday the 13th when she was invited on the talk show of her former Charlie’s Angels (2003) partner, Drew Barrymore.

“I’ve known him forever… How is he doing right now?” asks the pretty redhead, who is also very close to the actor. “Given the circumstances, he’s in a stable situation,” reassures Demi Moore, before continuing philosophically: “What I tell my kids is that you have to see him as he is. You shouldn’t cling to who he was or who you want him to be, but to who he is at this precise moment.” Optimistic, Ashton Kutcher’s former partner admits to finding “so much beauty, joy, love and tenderness” in this way of approaching the situation before revealing: “When I’m in Los Angeles, I go see him every week, and I really cherish every moment that we share.”
