At what age do men no longer need women in their lives?

30-45 year olds: stability, life plans and partnership

Once the impetuousness of youth has passed, many men seek a solid relationship based on complicity, mutual support, and building a future. This is the age of projects:  buying a home, starting a family, stabilizing one’s career .

The presence of a partner then becomes an  essential benchmark . Love evolves: it becomes less passionate, but more rooted, more mature. For many, the woman is then  an accomplice in life .

After 50: chosen autonomy or soothing distance?

At the dawn of their fifties, after one or more significant experiences (marriage, divorce, bereavement, breakups), some men opt for a form of active solitude. Not out of rejection, but  out of a desire for rebalanced freedom .

A woman’s need doesn’t necessarily disappear, but it does change. Less focused on the traditional couple, it is tinged with a desire for tranquility, a chosen routine,  a lighter life on an emotional level . This choice can also reflect a form of emotional serenity.
