Instructions:
Cook the Chicken:
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Add the chicken and cook for 4–6 minutes, until browned and cooked through.
Add minced garlic, garlic powder, smoked paprika, oregano, salt, and pepper. Stir and cook for another 1–2 minutes until fragrant.
Squeeze lemon juice over the chicken if using. Remove from heat.
Assemble the Wraps:
Lay a tortilla flat on a surface.
Spread a thin layer of ranch or garlic sauce (if using).
Add a layer of baby spinach or lettuce (optional).
Spoon a quarter of the cooked chicken onto the center.
Sprinkle with mozzarella and a bit of Parmesan cheese.
Wrap and Toast:
Fold in the sides and roll the tortilla tightly into a wrap.
Heat a clean skillet or griddle over medium heat. Add a little garlic butter.
Place the wrap seam-side down and toast for 2–3 minutes per side until golden and crispy, and the cheese is melted.
Serve:
Slice in half and serve warm with extra garlic sauce, a side of fries, or a fresh salad.
Tips for Best Results
Marinate for More Flavor
For extra juicy, flavorful chicken, marinate it for 15–30 minutes with olive oil, garlic, lemon juice, and seasonings before cooking.
Use Fresh Garlic Butter
Mix softened butter with fresh minced garlic and parsley. Brush it on the outside of the wrap before toasting for a golden, flavorful crust.
Avoid Overfilling
Stick to about 1/4 of the chicken and cheese mixture per wrap so they seal properly and don’t fall apart during toasting.
Crisp Without Drying Out
Toast wraps over medium heat. Too high, and the wrap burns before the cheese melts; too low, and they dry out.
Keep Wraps Closed
Secure wraps with toothpicks while cooking if they tend to open. Just remember to remove them before serving!
Variations to Try
Spicy Kick
Add chili flakes or chopped jalapeños to the chicken mix.
Spread spicy mayo, sriracha, or chipotle aioli inside the wrap.
Cheese Swap
Try pepper jack, gouda, provolone, or a sharp white cheddar for different flavors.
Veggie Boost
Add sautéed onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, or even sun-dried tomatoes for extra texture and nutrients.
