Pouring a few drops of milk into your morning coffee is a habit for many. However, this combination can sometimes disrupt digestion. Indeed, naturopath Virginie Fleur describes coffee with milk as a “digestion bomb”. According to her, the tannins in coffee coagulate the casein in milk, making this mixture difficult to digest and causing bloating and digestive discomfort.
