Why do we drool in our sleep and how to fix it?

Waking up to a damp pillow is never pleasant. This phenomenon, called hypersalivation, occurs when the facial muscles and swallowing reflexes relax during sleep. This allows saliva to build up and flow out, especially if you sleep with your mouth slightly open.

In some cases, frequent hypersalivation can reveal more complex causes, such as  nasal blockage ,  breathing problems  or even  neurological problems .
